A theatrical comedy that explores the meaning of Blackness in the UK from the viewpoint of a Nigerian comedian who has recently moved over here. As she struggles to fit in, what seemed so straightforward gets even more complicated than expected.

Finding Olokun is a play that explores the lasting effects that colonisation has had on African spirituality and how through the process of bastardising African communities from their customs has impacted the diasporas sense of self identity, aspirations, relationships, purpose and their ideas about the after life. Danny will be sharing a 30 min excerpt of the play.
