Pivotal – Women’s Empowerment Party
An evening celebration of creative women in Barking and Dagenham
Fri 24 Mar, 6.30pm - 11pm
For Women’s Empowerment Month, join us for an upbeat evening hosted by Studio 3 Arts, which brings together women from across the borough to share pivotal moments from a diverse network of creative experiences and perspectives.
The event will include pop-up performances, a DJ, licensed bar, interactive mini workshops, games, plus a Q&A talk with a panel of leading female creatives from East London that connects the realities, challenges, and triumphs of being a woman in the arts.
We will be joined by FOR DA GYAL DEM a female freestyle movement led by accomplished East London choreographer Kloe Dean, who will perform throughout the night.
Hosted by Akanele from One Room Live (@itsakanele). Spoken word performances by Miss Jacqui (@iAmMissJacqui) and Raniyah Roserie (@niyroserr).
This is a party, so feel free to get dressed up and bring you dancing shoes. Tickets are free but must be prebooked due to capacity.
